Ms. Sagath has been working since 2001, designing & teaching exercise programs for patients. In 2011, she began practicing Osteopathy. From 2013 to 2018, she was a member of the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. In 2013, she began practicing Reiki, & from 2014 to 2018 she instructed Pilates.
Ms. Sagath has worked in various clinics and volunteered at the student clinic, as a clinical supervisor, teaching undergraduate students about clinical Osteopathy at the CAO in 2012.
"Angelika is quite disciplined & academically capable as she concurrently completed a Bachelors of Science with Honors in Kinesiology at York University & a Masters of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences at the CAOHHS. Amazingly, she accomplished this at the age of 23. As a result of her uncommon maturity & perseverance, she was awarded the Growth & Development award as a 3rd-year student at the CAOHHS, for being the most transformed student in her class during her education."

"I have known Ms. Furtak for a period of 5 months (July 2012-December 2012) from her working at Liberty Clinic, in Toronto, Ontario Canada. I was the clinic business owner and Naturopathic doctor during Ms. Furtak’s time here.
During her time at Liberty Clinic, Ms. Furtak has been very dedicated to her patients. She does conscientious thorough assessments of all her patients, listens critically & is empathetic toward their concerns & stressors. Ms. Furtak works well with others, is an excellent communicator, & is well received & respected by her patients. Ms. Furtak also completes all her paperwork diligently & comprehensively and is utmost professional."

"I have known & worked with Angelika Furtak for a period of several months. I have come to know her as a very disciplined & responsible professional. She has excellent work ethics. She works both as a Kinesiologist & Osteopath. We work in the same place and have common clients/patients. Her clients are very satisfied with her services because she is competent with what she does."
The reason Angelika chose this profession is to help other people. This has been her motivating force since she decided to do her Kinesiology & Osteopathy path. Angelika believes the health field is a tool that helps her be able to help other people reach their greatest health potential. Angelika has a sincere willingness to help patients reach wellness.
Angelika is interested in practicing Osteopathy because she believes when principles are adhered to, it heals patients. Angelika believes that Osteopathy creates opportunities & helps patients to be the best that they can be for themselves, their families, & their communities. With patience & respect for the treatment as well as patients' needs, it can give patients a sense of hope, empower them to live their lives fully, & make them healthy to be able to carry on their responsibilities of commitment. This is one of the purposes of Osteopathy- which by nature gives patients the ability to live their lives, to fulfill their obligations to themselves & others.
Four key achievements in Angelika's life that shaped her subsequent experiences are below:
Experience 1. Working at the Family Clinic
Experience 2. Osteopathy for Migraines
Experience 3. Osteopathy for my Mother
Experience 4. Education & Graduation
Committed to Facilitating Your Healing
Some awards I have received include the Foot Biomechanics & Custom Orthotic Therapy certificate, Seated Facet Release Technique instructed by Karen Steele, Standard First Aid and CPR C, & the Growth & Development Award for Most Transformed Student in the Third Year Class from the CAO academy.
I believe the greatest award I have is facilitating a patient to heal & seeing them go their way to continue to lead successful lives on their part whatever the case may be.
"I have had the pleasure of knowing Angelika Furtak for four years while a student at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy & Holistic Health Sciences, in Hamilton Ontario. I was a teacher during Ms. Furtak's time there.
Ms. Furtak has always challenged herself academically, she is an active participant in class discussions, dedicated to carry out her work assignments & pursue her academic coursework, grasps material quickly, is eager to learn, & has shown the ability to grasp general principles as well as subtle details. She is mature, motivated, organized, efficient, serious, & extremely competent. Her communication skills, both written & verbal, are excellent. Angelika is a good listener who also can convey information clearly & effectively to individuals & groups. Additionally, she has been volunteering as a clinical supervisor at the CAO outpatient clinic."
