Cranio-Sacral Therapy is used during Osteopathy sessions. It is the hand manipulation of soft tissue surrounding the brain, spine & other vital internal organs.
It is a very gentle & subtle, complex form of mobilization of the spine, skull, joints & sutures of the body in order to balance vital energy.
Balancing this energy helps to release common dysfunctions & sprains, which will unlock & balance the flow of the Cerebral Spinal Fluid in the Central Nervous System.
Unlocking the spinal nerves from compression will facilitate recovery from illness.
Temporomandibular Joint manipulation (TMJ):
When the TMJ is out of position, it can cause symptoms ranging from pain around the joint to locking of the jaw when chewing. Osteopathic manipulation of the TMJ, Cranio-Sacral Therapy and release of the surrounding tissues including the face and neck can relieve symptoms.
How Cranio-Sacral Therapy can help you:
improves one's sleep
balances vital energy
facilitates recovery from illness
"I had a headache before my appointment & after my Osteopathic session with Angelika, my headache is gone. I feel good now. My low back pain has decreased from 6/10 to 1/10."
"I feel 100% better after my Osteopathic sessions. Tension released, low back feels in place, hips feel better- in place. Back pain & hip pain improved to 0/10, & sleep is slowly improving. I find my Osteopathy sessions with Angelika, to be very relaxing, tension is released, feeling much better."

"For many years, I was referring my patients with temporomandibular joint (TMJ) misalignment & neck pain to Angelika Furtak, M.OMSc.
When I woke up one morning with locked jaw, & could not open my mouth wide enough even to bite into a banana, I knew where to go...Angelika has adjusted my cranial bones, facial bones and my TMJ a couple of times. Now I can chew comfortably, without pain.
